Surely we all remember our original televisions, growing up, some of us even had black and white. The first television we sat in front of with our family growing up was 13 inches, the entire box surrounding it was larger than the picture. Recently, in the last few years we have seen televisions getting slimmer, lighter weight, and the picture quality is amazing. Plasma televisions were hot and still have a quality picture, yet they are 2-5 inches deep, not what I would consider slim, compared with the newer options of LCD and LED technology. Lately we have seen even slimmer televisions all the while watch the prices become lower and lower for greater technology, it is wonderful. When we look at buying a High Definition Television, turn it sideways and be impressed, if possible pick it up, and be further impressed, these televisions are lightweight. I would suggest comparing many options when looking to purchase a new High Def television, look at the picture, from different angles, compare and consider too, where this will be going, bedroom, living room, bathroom (you wont be the first person installing one here). In fact, we should have a light weight slim designed high definition television in every room.
